The engine was overhauled by Penn Yan Aero Service in 1992 to manufacturer’s new parts limits with factory new cylinders. At that time, the engine had 3420. We purchased the Navajo it was installed on in 1994. The aircraft was put on an FAA Part 135 charter certificate and inspected every 50 hours according to Piper’s 50 hour inspection program. In 2000 we removed this engine after it had reached 1783 hours. This engine’s TBO is 1800 hours. Engine was removed for time only Per. Part 135 regulations. It is at 74D Marshall Co. Airport Moundsville WV
